Guide Review - Wonder Wash
When I opened the Wonder Wash shipping box, I was amazed at how few parts were included. Although there were no assembly instructions, I easily put the Wonder Wash together in a few minutes. It's made completely out of plastic (except for the stainless steel screw-on lid), so there's nothing to rust. It looks like it would last a long time, forsaking any abuse.
The instructions to wash clothes are so simple a kid could do it. Depending on the amount of clothes you're washing, you add a prescribed amount of detergent and water, then your clothes, and then you turn the handle for 2-3 minutes. After washing you stick the drain tube on the bottom, drain the soapy water, refill with clean water, and spin a few more times to rinse the clothes. Drain again, hang the clothes up to dry, and you're done washing.
You can use hot or cold water, but cold water may require more handle turns to complete the wash cycle. The Wonder Wash uses far less detergent than a conventional washing machine. Not only is it ideal for campers and RVers, but dorm students, singles, and apartment dwellers would find it useful as well. For just $42.95 the Wonder Wash is a great buy.

Hello, first let me thank you for your wonderful product, the wonderwash. I use it every day, fits right in the tub, and most importantly my girlfriend
loves it. All of her nice work clothes come out looking perfect and NO MORE LAUNDROMAT TRIPS! Our towels are where I have noticed the greatest difference. They are no longer loaded with the soap, softeners, etc. that even the big machines could not rinse out completely. They don't smell like laundry detergent, they smell CLEAN. This machine works better than any standard washer I've used.

Hi ... I recieved your laundry washer as a gift from a friend, and I
wanted to tell you how wonderful this invention really is! It is quick,
and by playing and singing along to some music while I am using it, I
actually have some fun. I have saved 20 dollars so far, just in two weeks.

Washer arrived today. I was sceptical upon seeing it, but first try seemed to do a good job of washing and rinsing. Thx, Doug
Hi Corey,
Well we got back from the long--well 23 day 5000 km trip through NW BC, the Yukon and NWT. After we used the modern laundry at the campground in Watson Lake, Yukon, for the next week we did not see an electrical outlet, no tap water, no telephones, no shops, no mailboxes (but many Bears, Caribou, Bison, etc.) so the Wonder washer came in very useful. In fact we did not find a laundry facility until we got home even though we had a couple of nights with 15 amp power.
The farthest north we used the Wonder Washer was a bit south of Hay River, which is on the SW corner of Great Slave Lake, about latitude 61 north, the level of the Bering Glacier in SE Alaska.
A great device!

John Thistlewood
Of the techniques I've used to hand wash laundry, the non-electric pressure washing machine is my favorite. It's quick, simple and uses the least amount of water and laundry soap...I can do several small loads of laundry quicker this way than I can bag it up, dinghy to shore and find a laundromat. But more important, I can keep up with the laundry when we're far from civilization. The pressure washer is made of molded plastic, there are no internal moving parts, and no maintenance is needed. Pressure washers are available from The Laundry Alternative, Inc. ($42.95; 888.813.9559, www.laundry-alternative.com).

"The Wonderwash is ideal for an apartment, summer cabin, or time share property as it will clean your clothes without the large appliance investment, maintenance or space needed. We've tested the Wonderwash and found it easy to assemble and durable. In fact, my six year old put it together without the instructions."

"A Laundry Alternative"
*What it is: A hand-operated pressure washing machine.
*How it works: It sits on a counter and is spun by hand until the clothes are clean.
*Advantages: No electricity is required, it is inexpensive ($40), uses 90% less detergent than traditional machines, it would be great for camping, single people, motor homes, and Y2K planning."

"The Wonderwash provides RVers with a viable alternative to traditional laundry facilities. It's great for small "in-between" loads, for handling laundry while boondocking, and for the budget-conscious RVer. The only problem we found in our test washes is that it may be too small to sit on the countertops of some RVs and still rotate properly. However, the Wonderwash can sit on any table top -- either indoors or outdoors -- and works quite well. It does a good job of getting the laundry clean, which is the bottom line. For the frugal RVer, the Wonderwash may be just the way to go!"

"Just wanted to let you know that I received the Wonderwash and I am very pleased with it. Thanks again. I will guide others to your product if they are interested. Thanks again for your correspondence with me. Thanks for the quick shipment too."

"Hi, I have a pressure washer that my mother gave to me when I married. It's 14 years old! However although it works fine and was so useful when my big machine broke and I had 2 kids in terry nappies (diapers) I have lost the chart telling temperatures of water and how much powder/time to keep washing. Could you email me the info?"
-Mrs. Green, England
"Thank you so much for my machine. It is really cool! And it is a heck of a lot better than washing in the kitchen sink! This is such a find!"
-Karen M, Massachusetts (our first customer!)
Dear Corey,
The Wonderwash is truly amazing. I no longer waste time or money going to the coin laundry. I live in a 1 bedroom without space for a conventional washing-machine. But now I'm glad I don't have enough room because it makes owning a "Wonderwash" that much sweeter. It washes a load in about two minutes without electricity. It uses less water and soap as well. The pressurized water really lifts out stains too. The Wonderwash really puts the "conventional" washing machines to shame. Once you go with a Wonderwash you'll never go back.
Sincerely,
Myron Boyce in Charlotte, NC
Corey -
The Wonder Wash arrived yesterday and I thought I'd pass along part of the
email message my mother sent to me since she received it! It seems as though
it was worth waiting for!
Thanks, Patty M.
Message sent to me regarding the Wonder Wash:
It is just what I had envisioned, but I had no idea they even made anything like it. It works well, I think... It is GREAT!!!!!! Just what I wanted. I still can't believe you found it. You always get me such nice things as gifts... Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Corey,
Thanks for making it so easy to get one of your washers. I particularly appreciate your trust.
By now we have used it for several loads and it seems to do a pretty good job. Now we are boon docking at Nickerson State Park in Brewster on the cape. We have no hookups of any kind, so the washer has been most welcome.
Perhaps a good place for you to advertise would be in the Escapees magazine. Check out www.escapees.com to see what SKPs is all about. It's the best RV centric organization we belong to.
Best of luck in your business,
Bruce & Gail
