Corey, Thanks for the information yesterday. I enjoyed speaking with you over the phone, you were very informative. I have bookmarked your site and will check back regularly. The information you provide is a must read. The lint going into my new septic system has been bothering me for almost a year now. Yesterday I found your website and ordered a Filtrol 160. To our amazement, it arrived today. After dinner tonight I drilled a couple holes in the concrete foundation to the left and behind our washing machine. I used the hose supplied for the exit line. Tomorrow I will pick up about 4’ of 1” ID hose to connect the washer discharge to the top of the Filtrol (in the meantime; I turned the water off to the machine). My wife is a stay at home Mom so she does a couple loads every other day; tomorrow is her day off. I was very pleased when I opened the box. The Filtrol 160 is very well constructed. The case is thick very strong plastic that I do not think I could break if I tried. The cover is fastened to the filter body with spring clips. This is very nice because I have an inline water sediment filter on the pipe coming out of my water tank. The plastic filter case screws into the base and no matter how little torque I apply after replacing the filter, it is always a struggle to loosen next time the filter needs replacing. At this point I have the filter half plumbed and I look forward to finishing the job tomorrow. I am very confident that this filter is EXACTLY what I needed. I will send you a full testimonial with pictures for your website in about a week. You need to market the Filtrol 160 at Home Depot and Lowes.
