Corey graduated from Middlebury College in 1994 with a BA in Russian. After graduation he worked with the founders of two large import-export companies, which sparked his interest in entrepreneurship. Corey developed extensive knowledge of the Internet during a stint at Lycos, Inc., which has been instrumental in growing the business online.
Corey is a laundry expert and has written numerous laundry-related articles for Readers Digest, Countryside Magazine, Back Home, 7th Generation's The Non-Toxic Times, The Dollar Stretcher, and many other print and online publications. In addition to his practical experience, he is also taking stain removal and fabric care courses through the International Fabricare Institute.
Corey has a passion for inventions and works with a number of small inventors.
Corey is an avid basketball player and fan. His other interests include foreign languages, international travel and medical technology. He formerly worked as a volunteer at the SPES Foundation in Dorchester MA, an excellent program which was unfortunately closed after many years due to a lack of funding. Corey hopes to help get the program re-started in the future with funding from The Laundry Alternative.
His brother Scott also lives in Vermont and is a highly talented guitarist. His website is http://www.scotttournet.com. Scott is the lead guitarist for the Grace Potter Band, at http://www.gracepotter.com. We highly recommend you check out his blues single, "I ain't changin'", which has brought down the house on numerous occasions. |
